Virgil Vos Dykema

Virgil Vos Dykema, 82, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed on June 7, 2019. Virgil was born to John and Sadie Dykema on July 10, 1936, in Roseland, Minnesota. He served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1957. He married Darlene Dykema in June 26, 1959, and they lived together in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Together they raised Dan and David Dykema. He leaves as his legacy his son Dan Dykema and wife, Lisa Dykema. He also leaves to cherish his memory three grandchildren, Hanna Dykema, Sarah Hampton and husband Daniel Hampton, and David Dykema and wife Megan Dykema. One great-grandchild, Will Dykema, and four siblings, Dennis Dykema, Mary Weiss, Lois McAuley, and Luther Dykema. His family remembers him as an upstanding and kind man. He loved his family, his church, and Arkansas Razorback baseball. He was preceded in death by David Dykema (son), John Dykema (father), and Sadie Dykema (mother). A Memorial Service is scheduled for June 13th, 2019, 10:30am at United Lutheran Church (100 Cooper Rd, Bella Vista, Arkansas). Pastor Karen Fowler-Lindemulder will officiate the ceremony.
