Arby Cleo "A.C." Rodgers

Arby Cleo "A.C." Rodgers, 91, of Fayetteville, formerly of White Hall, died Friday, June 21, 2019. He was born January 20, 1928 in Des Arc, son of Jesse W. and Ruth Heavener Rodgers. A.C. graduated from White Hall High School in 1948. He attended First Assembly of God in Pine Bluff and White Hall. He worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad, where he retired as a brakeman and conductor. A.C. was a member of the Sahara Shrine Temple in Pine Bluff since 1975. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother J.W. Rodgers, and sister Margaret Gorman. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Weatherford Rodgers of Pine Bluff; daughter Terry Rodgers Fox (Fred) of Fayetteville; mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of children, Tena Billings Rodgers of Fayetteville; grandchildren: Nan Ruth Fox (Ben Williamson) of Charleston, S.C., Megan Fox Kingdon (Matt) of Charleston, S.C., Fred Andrew Fox (Annye) of Fayetteville, and Kate Fox Jorgensen (Blake) of Fayetteville, and great-grandchildren: Luke Rodgers Williamson, Lily Grace Williamson, Marley Fox Kingdon, Micah Thomas Kingdon, Miles Tillman Jorgensen and Charlie B. Jorgensen. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Charles Cantwell officiating.
