Freda Lendermon

Freda Lendermon, 85, of Beebe, Ark., died June 20, 2019. She was born July 12, 1933, in Des Arc, Ark., to Jennie Mae and Charley H. Webb. Freda worked for Darragh and Company until she and her husband opened Lendermon Paint Co. in downtown Little Rock in 1978. She was an excellent cook and an avid Razorbacks fan. She loved to go to Mountain View to listen to bluegrass music and never missed the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday nights. She also lived to spend time at Greer's Ferry Lake with her husband and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Lendermon and her daughter, Janette Kellar. Freda is survived by her sisters Clara Crownover of North Little Rock and Charlene Hale of Carlisle, and brother Bill Webb of Carlisle. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Jerry F. Kellar, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and Justin F. Kellar (Elizabeth) of Beebe; two great-grandchildren: Emersyn Litten and Jaxson Kellar; several nieces and nephews, including special niece Teresa Zimmerman of North Little Rock; and stepson Larry Lendermon. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2019, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home; Beebe, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. Private burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
