W.C. Wood

W.C. Wood, 86, of Sherwood, went to his eternal home on June 21, 2019. W.C. was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church, and EANGUS. W.C. was proud to serve his country and state for 43 years. He never met a stranger and he always had a smile. W.C. was married for 65 years to Bonnie Wood, who preceded him in death. He was a wonderful father to his children, Mike Wood; Cheryl Berryhill; Sandy Fenley (Bob Fenley); five grandchildren, Chris Hall (Tessa Hall), Ryne Wood, Whitney Vaughn (Shaun Vaughn), Travis Fenley, and Shannon Talburt. Great-grandchildren, Dylan Hall, Kanynn Hall, Madison Davis, Megan Davis, and Meloni Hall; sister-in-law, Carol Ronning, nieces, Kristen Levine and Stephanie Rotunda; cousins, Gretchen Marchese and Carmen Smith. Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 9 a.m. with Funeral service immediately following at 10 a.m., both at Parkhill Baptist Church, 228 E. C St., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116.
