Marion Shelby Gray

Marion Shelby (Buddy) Gray, 89 of Houston, Ark. peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Moro, Ark. on March 14, 1930 to Lee and Allie Gray. He married the love of his life Rose L. (Freeman) Gray on June 14, 1957 and spent 62 wonderful years together. He served in The US Navy during the Korean War. Preceded in death by brothers, Merrill Leo Gray, Cecil Jefferson Gray, Charlie Wade Gray and his parents. He is survived by his wife Rose L. Gray, sons Nathan Shelby Gray of Houston Ark., Stanley Wade (Kimberly) Gray of Ward, Ark., granddaughter, Rachel Diane (Jacob) Cobb and great-grandbaby, Dara Renee Cobb. Sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Sister" Anthony, Dollie Barnard, and Vicki Lynn (Tim) Smith, sister-in-law, Betty (Freeman) Sisk and many more who will miss the twinkle in his eye and his mischievous grin. Visitation will be Thursday June 27, 2019 at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, Ark. from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral Service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with military burial to follow.
