Robert L. Claxton

Robert L. Claxton, 59, died Monday, June 24, 2019 at UAMS. He was born on October 8, 1959 in Forrest City, AR to Dwain and Virginia Claxton. Robert grew up in Wynne and Little Rock, Ark. He attended elementary and middle school in Wynne and graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock. Robert graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S. in Business Administration. He was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. After graduation he returned to Little Rock where he was employed at Simmons Bank until 2008. He enjoyed planting and growing all types of plants and fixing things. Robert is survived by his mother, Virginia W. Claxton and his sister, Amy F. Claxton. He was preceded in death by his father Dwain L. Claxton. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church. The visitation will be Saturday, June 29th at 10 a.m. with the memorial service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Stranger's Home Cemetery outside of Alicia, Ark.
