Eunice Joy Young

Born March 25, 1934 as Eunice Joy Young to Gillis & JJ Swinney. Joy trusted Christ as her Savior as a preteen and served Him her whole life as a choir member, Sunday School teacher, and chair of many committees as well as the home bound ministry. She served her family sacrificially as a wife and homemaker. She was very active in her community in various ways.Joy worked as a secretary for the Employment Security Division after raising children. Joy married Stanley Young in June 28, 1957. They were married for 34 years when Stanley passed. Joy is survived by her siblings Janet Liles (Jackie) of Searcy, Ark., Melton Swinney (Betty Sue) of Dallas, Texas, Betty Charlene Chapman (Vick), Wendol Swinney (Glenda), Landol Swinney (Barbara), and beloved sister in laws, Eva Young and Rose Marie Jones, and a host of nieces and nephews. Her children Martin Young (DiAlma), Patrick Young (Melanie), and Wanda Rosenbaum (Sid). Her grandchildren Amanda Young, Mason Young, Ashley Young, Marshall Young, Daniel Young, Travis Young, Trey Rosenbaum (Robbi), Rachel Rosenbaum, Calvin Rosenbaum (Cassie), Christian Rosenbaum and great-grandchildren, Connor Rosenbaum and Carter Cantu. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 29th at Lifeline Baptist Church (7601 Baseline Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72209), followed by a private burial for the family.
