Glen Shackelford

Glen Shackelford, age 87, of Hazel Valley, Ark., passed away Sunday March 3, 2019. He was born April 12, 1931 in Hazel Valley, Ark., to Homer and Otha Garrison Shackelford. Glen is a member of the Hazel Valley Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bill Shackelford and his son in law Frank Richert. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Martha Shackelford; two daughters, Glenda Richert of Elkins; Kathy Baker and her husband Billy of Elkins; one son, Wayne Shackelford and his wife Cindy of Hazel Valley; four grandchildren, Duane Richert, John Richert, Kerry Shackelford and Jessica Carter; 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m. Tuesday March 5, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hazel Valley Community Church with burial to follow in Hazel Valley Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
