Wilda Anneta Cooper

Wilda Anneta Cooper, 81, of Springdale passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at her home. She was born November 15, 1937 in Madison County to Leroy Shepherd and Irma Barton-Shepherd. She was a strong Christian woman that believed, "Can't was not a word". She had many talents such as quilting, gardening and woodworking just to name a few. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 30 yrs, Alvia Cooper; brother, Kenneth Shepherd and sister, Wanda Laird. Survivors include her three sons, Tim Sloan and wife Dian and Randy Sloan and wife Patricia both of Springdale and Allen Sloan of Huntsville; brother, Bob Shepherd and wife Juanita of Batesville; grandchildren, Casey, Katie, Chris, Christy and Walter; great grandchildren, Elly, Paxton, Evan, Tyler, Aubrey and Harley and several other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. at the Hope Freewill Church, 297 Madison 7510, Fayetteville, Ark., 72703 on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow at Buckeye Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
