Barbara Jean Allen Wargo

Barbara Jean Allen Wargo, 77, of Kelso, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 4, 2019. She was born in Dumas, Arkansas on September 24, 1941 to the late Luther M. and Fannie Ethel Shelton Allen. Barbara was a practical nurse and later became a delivery nurse for Dr. Swan B. Moss. She worked as a medical records librarian, traffic manager for Kelso Gin, and a teller at Merchants & Farmers Bank in Dumas. Barbara retired in 2006. She loved being a grandmother to her amazing grandchildren. Barbara enjoyed trout fishing on the Little Red River and bird watching. She was an avid fan of the Razorback Basketball Team. Barbara attended Kelso Baptist Church in Kelso, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Andrew Wargo III of Kelso, Ark.; sons, Andrew Wargo IV and wife, Denise "Shelli" of Springfield, Va. and Mark Allen Wargo and wife, Tiffany of Warren, Ark.; sisters, Joan Beegle of McGehee, Ark. and Becky Adams and husband, Gary of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Andrew James "AJ" Wargo, Hannah Eliana Wargo, Pierce Allen Wargo and Alexander Riley Wargo; brother-in-law, Tim Wargo and wife, Carolyn of Dumas, Ark. Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev.
