Soukone Luanglathay

Soukone Luanglathay, age 90, of Lowell passed away Wednesday February 27, 2019 in Lowell. She was born March 25, 1928 in Thakhek, Khammouna province, Laos, the daughter of Chanhla Luanglathay and Naly Luanglathay. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Andrew Luanglathay. She worked and retired from Tyson Foods and was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Arkansas Lao Association and the Lao Catholic of Fort Smith. She is survived by a son Sangouane Luanglathay; a daughter Keothaviphone Niravanh; nine grandchildren: Catherine Niravanh, Christopher Niravanh, Jennifer Niravanh, Lena Chanthavong, Linda Luanglathay, Joe Luanglathay, Darasavanh Luanglathay, Phanthanousith Luanglathay, Nimithpanya Luanglathay; four great-grandchildren: Anthony Chanthavong, Brooklyn Keomanivong, Maximus Keomanivong, and Jax Granados; and a sister:Thongsa Luanglathay. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 8th at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday March 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
