Allyson Jayne Sawrie, age 25 of Bentonville, Ark., left her earthly home March 7, 2019. Allyson is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roland Newton, Sr. and Emogene Newton, and her maternal grandparents, J.W. and Pat Tyler. Allyson is survived by her husband, Jay Sawrie; parents, Roland and C.J. Newton; and sister and brother-in-law, Katy and Mark Stoops. She is also survived by her aunts: Lynda (Tommy) Quick, Sandy (Gib) Carpenter, Marilyn (Jeff) Scott, and uncles Tim and Terry Newton. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Tanya Sawrie, and brother-in-law Nathan Sawrie, and cousins galore. Allyson was a 2011 graduate of Greenbrier High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in sociology from UCA in 2016. Allyson was passionate about life and causes near and dear to her heart, including her service to families through DHS, volunteering at City of Hope, and serving others through a variety of mission opportunities. She was an animal lover and held a special place in her heart for her dogs, Shaggie and Ellie the Dog. She actively lived her faith in Jesus Christ with the motto, Sola Gratia (grace alone). Her family and friends will cherish the memories of Allyson's enthusiasm and wit. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 10th, from 4-6 p.m. at Christ Church Conway. Allyson's memorial service will be Monday, March 11th, at 10 a.m. at Christ Church Conway, led by pastor Kevin Hale.
