Lida Lea

Lida Lea, 101 years of age, passed from the cares of this life on March 7, 2019, at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1917, in Wynne, Ark., to Chalmers and Tinnin Martin. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paragould. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leicester Lea, and her parents. Lida is survived by her daughter, Linda Lea Futrell (Danny); two grandchildren, Frank L. Hurst Jr. (Laurie) and Lindsey L. Way (Philip); four great-grandchildren, Hayden B. Hurst, Connor L. Hurst, Bailey A. Way, and Weslea C. Way. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John Fleming and Frank Hurst Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Linwood cemetery. The family deeply appreciates the care and dedication of the staff at Greene Acres Nursing Home.
