Carol Ann McDonald

Carol Ann McDonald passed away March 11, 2019 at the Legacy Hospice House in Bentonville, Arkansas after some lengthy illnesses. She was a member of the Bentonville United Methodist Church. Carol Ann Martin McDonald was born to James Archer Martin and Dorothy Jean Marshall in Magnolia, Arkansas, on April 12, 1948. She married Gary Lea McDonald on September 23, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas. They had many great years travelling throughout the US and in several countries. That grew very quickly as their favorite thing to do, with hunting and shooting guns as close second and third. Carol was unable to have her own children, and instead worked to draw close to her nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Gary and by her parents, James and Dorothy Martin. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Johnson and husband, Rueben, of Indiana, and her brother, James, and wife, Connie of Powell, Missouri and 11 nieces and nephews. Carol had great compassion for others and was always helping until she was unable due to her health. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
