Joe R. Wood

Joe R. Wood, 72, of Floyd, Arkansas went to be with the Lord March 12, 2019. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam. While in the Air Force he served as a Security Policeman. He was a retired industrial electrician. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Floyd. He is survived by his wife Brenda J. Wood of Floyd; sons Shelby R. Wood of Augusta, Georgia and Christopher Arcement of Beebe; daughter Melissa Tanner of Sandersville, Georgia; four grandchildren; two beautiful great-granddaughters; brother Danny Wood of Cabot; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerrell and Lena Wood; and sister Sue Adams.
