Richard Loomis

Richard Loomis, age 85, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 in Benton, Arkansas. He was born January 9, 1934 in Billstown, Arkansas, the son of the late Jacob Hiram and Cora Stone Loomis. Mr. Loomis was a member of the Mablevale Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Loomis and three brothers Olen Loomis, Troy Loomis, and Leslie Loomis. Survivors include two sons Rick Loomis and wife Mary of Yantis, Texas; Vick Loomis and wife Gina of Alexander, Ark.; one granddaughter Michelle Ford of Dover, Ark.; two grandsons Jacob Loomis of Alexander, Ark.; Jordan Loomis of Alexander, Ark.; one great-granddaughter Harley Ford of Dover, Ark.; sister-in-law as well as caregiver Frances Shope, sister-in-law, Peggy Loomis, and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 1 p.m., until service time, Saturday, March 16, at the Delight Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 16, at the Delight Church of Christ with Randy Hughes and Dale Morris officiating, burial to follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
