Donny Lee Gibson

Donny Lee Gibson, 78, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was born in Barber, Ark., to parents Reba Oleta Hicks and William Tony Gibson. He graduated from Mansfield High School in 1959. He retired from the Rock Island Railroad, and established a railroad contracting business after that in Illinois. He enjoyed traveling, eating out, going to church, and his family. He is survived by his two daughters Rebecca Louise Brewster (Richard) of Bryant, Ark., and Patricia Dawn DeJong of Crown Point, Ind. Five grandchildren, Tripp, Cory, Kathryn, Susie, and Anna. Two sisters, Ann Bastion of Socorro, N.M., and Jeanie Rogers of Booneville, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Amos of Ft. Smith, Ark., and June Elmore of Booneville, Ark., daughter Karen Leigh Gibson of Little Rock, Ark., and grandson Bobby Lee Gibson.
