Frankie Beatrice Donaldson Jeffries

FRANKIE BEATRICE DONALDSON JEFFRIES, 86, of Little Rock, Ark., went home to be the Lord Sunday, March 10, 2019. She was born in Grady, Ark., on August 8, 1932, to the late James and Hannah Donaldson. She was the devoted wife of the late Rev. Dr. Luther Jeffries, Sr. for 59 years. She took great pride in raising her children. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Mrs. Jeffries was a member of St. Paul Baptist of Little Rock; Rev. R. DeShun Pastor. She retired from Pulaski Academy after 19 ½ years of service. Upon her retirement, she was granted Alumni status. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Donaldson and Hannah Donaldson Harris, an aunt who raised her; Gussie Brewer, brother James Daniel Donaldson, sister Seretha Baugh Donaldson, son Luther Jeffries, Jr, step-son George Spann, grandsons John Peeples, Jr, Robert Maxwell, Jr, and great-grandson Jahi Peeples. She leaves to cherish her love and memories daughters Gussie B. Charles, Ruby Jean and Vearlon LaVon Jeffries of Little Rock, Ark., Maxine (William) Shackelford, Orlando, Fla., Linder Fay Green, Homestead Fla., Hannah (John) Harris Lonoke Ark., step-daughter Jalonda Lane, Little Rock; sons Thurman Lee, James Edward, and Charles Calvin Jeffries of Little Rock, Ark., sisters-in-law Leola Wakes, Topeka, Kan., Rossie L. Washington, Pine Bluff, Ark.; Minnie Rose Greene, Maumelle, Ark; Dortha (Reginald) Holcomb Cleveland, Ohio; niece, Jessie Donaldson, Little Rock; 18 Grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Family hour will be held Friday, March 22, 2019, from 6-7:30 p.m., at St. Paul Baptist Church, 2603 Commerce St. Little Rock, Ark. Her Celebration service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019, 12 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12th St., Little Rock. Dr. Phillip L. Pointer, Sr., Pastor, Rev. R.
