Charles F. Price, 87, passed away March 20, 2019. Born in Prescott, Arkansas to Charles C. Price and Nell Myram Short Price, he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean War. In 1992, he retired from Motorola C&E, Inc. as an Account Executive and District Manager after 23 years of service. His hobbies included ham radio (for 68 years) and music, performing with various big bands and combos since 1971. Charles was a 32nd Degree Mason, York Rite Mason, Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of F&A Masons Lodge 13 in El Dorado. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Wann Price, he is survived by his son, Miles Price and daughter, Chandra Price Handley (David), both of Little Rock ; brother, Jimmy Price of Los Altos, California; granddaughters, Hayley Price of Chicago, Illinois and Tarah Handley of San Antonio; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be this evening, Friday, March 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Monday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Roy Smith. Memorials may be made to the church at 1101 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, Ark. 72207.
