Virgil L. Cox

Virgil L. Cox, 78, of Fordyce died March 19, 2019. He was the son of the late Steve and Alice Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jeannie Cox; two children, Carl Cox, Katherine Cox; step-son, Buddy Shepherd. He is survived by three grandchildren, Travis Johnson, Matthew Ash, Katelyn Ash; two sisters, Donna Lading, Cleda Owen; step-daughter, Patricia Davis; two nephews, two nieces. Visitation Friday March 22, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday March 23, 2019 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Burial at Benton Cemetery.
