James W. "Jim" Rodgers transitioned home with his Lord and Savior Sunday, March 24, 2019. The youngest of seven siblings, he was born April 10, 1948 in Crossett, Arkansas and preceded in death by his parents Hudson and Bertha Rodgers, as well as brothers Tommy and Roy. He was an avid sportsman and loved to play golf, fish, hunt, camp and cheer for his beloved Razorbacks. Jim was widely known and dearly loved for his generosity, charm, quick wit, and entertaining talent for producing elaborate stories and hoaxes. Visitation and funeral services will be held at First Assembly of God, North Little Rock at 9:30 and 11 a.m., respectively, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the HHS Honors Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 30, Hamburg, Ark. 71646. Online guestbook is available at www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
