Mr. William Truman Campbell, age 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 24, 2019. He was born April the 3rd, 1930 in Cardon Bottoms, Yell County, Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Clara Campbell. Mr. Campbell was retired from the City of Little Rock where he had worked for 40 years. He was a faithful member of Little Rock West Assembly of God; where he taught Sunday school and served as deacon for many years. Mr. Campbell was an avid sportsman, he provided and invested his time and talent teaching others to hunt and fish. He was married to the love of his life, Demoie Moore Campbell, February 14th, 1950. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Demoie Moore Campbell; sons, Leslie Campbell (Karen), Mark Campbell (Lorrie); daughter, Kathy Thompson (Mark). He was Pawpaw to seven grandchildren, Valerie Harcrow, Marla Coombs, Benjamin Thompson, Rachel Thompson, Hunter Campbell, Cole Bratton, Mason Bratton, and Lyndsey Collins. He loved his 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd Campbell, Wanda Jackson, Francis Hunter, Wilma Stafford, Goldie Campbell, and Dorothy Campbell; and grandson, Brian Campbell. Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Little Rock West Assembly of God, 16403 LaMarche Drive. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at the church with Rev. Larry Davis and Rev. Albert Wyllia officiating.
