Ronald D Raines

Rev. Ronald D. Raines, 79, of Jacksonville passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. He was born on May 3, 1939 in Leola, Arkansas to the late Ralph and Leomae Raines. Ron was a Baptist Minister for almost 60 years having served churches in Conway, Bigelow, McGehee, North Little Rock, Stuttgart and Jacksonville. Upon retirement from full-time pastoral ministry, he served as interim pastor at numerous other churches around Arkansas. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Oleta Raines; children Retta Morgan (Jimmy) of Lake Conway, Mark Raines (Caroline) of Cabot and Lori Pucik (Derik) of Siloam Springs. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 12 noon at Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Funeral will begin at 1 p.m. with entombment at Rest Hills Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
