Trecia Nae Herron

Trecia Mae (Thomas) Herron, of Arkadelphia, Ark., went to be with her Lord on the morning of March 28, 2019. She was born March 25, 1946, the youngest child of the late Patrick Henry and Ola Mae Thomas of Bismarck, Ark. She graduated from Bismarck Public Schools and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Arkadelphia. Trecia became employed immediately after graduation from High School to assist in the care of her aging parents. She ultimately become Deputy Circuit Clerk for Clark County, serving under three elected Circuit Clerks in her tenure with the county. Trecia is survived by her childhood sweetheart and love of her life for the past 51 years, Johnny Herron; two children, Dionne Reshelle (Garry Don) White and Vince Eric (Carla Gayle) Herron; five Grandchildren, Alex Thornton, Carrie Herron Stanley (Andrew Stanley), Parker Herron, William Herron and Katelyn Foreman; one brother, Arlie Thomas (Jacksonville, Ark.); and one sister, Loraine Walker (Hot Springs, Ark.). She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. The family will receive visitors at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, Arkadelphia, on Sunday, March 31, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. Services will be held at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 2:30 p.m., with Robbie Horne and Jeff Krisell officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30 until time of the service. Interment will follow in the Old Bismarck Cemetery with Trecia's grandsons serving as pallbearers.
