Gayla Stevenson went home to be with the Lord, April 29, 2019. She was born April 9, 1945 to Max Downum and Betty Joe (Murphy) Downum. She was predeceased by her parents. She attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Springdale Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Gene Stevenson of the home; two sons, Kody Collins of Springdale and Korey Collins and his wife Cicily of Texarkana, Arkansas; her beloved grandchildren, Blake Collins, Zack Collins, Katlyn Collins, Austin Collins, Clancey Collins and Judd Muligan.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale from 6 to 8 p.m. with the funeral on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Carver, Timmy Carver, Brian Osborne, Reggie Marchant, Blake Collins, Zack Collins, Austin Collins and Katlyn Collins.
