Jacob Richard Washburn, 30, of Springdale, died Monday, April 29, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 12, 1988 in Longmont, Colorado and in 1996 moved with his family to Springdale where he graduated from Springdale High School. He was attending the University of Arkansas and was to graduate later this month with his degree in Computer Science Engineering. Jacob loved music, drawing and playing video games. Above all he adored his wife and together they enjoyed time outdoors and walking Lake Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife, Shayla Robinson Washburn; his parents, Greg and Michelle Washburn; one brother, Caleb Washburn; grandparents, John and Jeaneane Washburn, Ron and Virginia Lane; and two aunts, Deborah Washburn and Andrea Ojala and husband John.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the chapel at Cross Church in Springdale.
