Thomas M. Nordengren

THOMAS M. NORDENGREN passed on 4/21/2019. A Chicago native, he brought his loving wife of 67 years, Pat, and their children Tom, Jim, Cheryl and Debbie to Little Rock in 1967 when he was transferred here by Teletype Corp. He has been an exemplary husband, father, grandfather (to seven) and great-grandfather (to six). During his full life he wore many hats. He was, among other things, an Army cryptographer, a hospital volunteer, a golf and bowling enthusiast, the BEST Santa Claus (for charities), the chair of the local ‘Telephone Pioneers of America', a die-hard Razorback fan and a friend to all who knew him. He played full-court basketball through his early 60's and often gave opponents less than half his age a surprising (to them) run for their money. He enjoyed his life and lived it fully and with gusto every day.
