Andrew Charles (Andy) Pearce born March 11, 1982 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Batesville, Arkansas after a hard fought battle with Leukemia. Andy was a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville. He was a graduate of Batesville High School class of 2000 and he graduated from University of Arkansas with a BSE in Human Resources. He loved to read and work on word puzzles and enjoyed history and the Star Wars movies; he also obtained a Black Belt in Taekwondo. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Kathleen Moody and infant sister, Sara Beth Pearce. He is survived by his parents, Randy and Peggy Pearce of Batesville; paternal grandparents, Quentin and Wanda Pearce of Batesville; Uncle Hank and Aunt Tommie Pearce of Batesville and Uncle Bo and Aunt Susan Johnson of Jonesboro; and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be Jacob Roberson, Jordan Roberson, Kyle McKee, Matt Lloyd, Josh Wells, and Theron Lloyd. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Harrison Street Church of Christ with Tom German and Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Children's Homes, Inc., 5515 Walcott Rd., Paragould, Ark. 72450 or UAMS Winthrop P.
