Danny Joe Beale, born in 1947, died Friday morning in Little Rock. He was born in Dyersburg, Tenn. to parents, Jeff and Jewell Beale. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his older brother, Paul Edward Beale of Columbus, Miss. Beale is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith Dupree Beale (Jacksonville, Ark.), his brother, Ted R. Beale (Sommerville, N.J.); daughter Michelle Beale (Bellevue, Wash.); son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Paula Harding Beale (Memphis, Tenn.); two grandsons, Conor and Ian Robertson (Bellevue, Wash.); nephew, Greg Beale (Blytheville, Ark); Niece, Angela Beale King (Russellville, Ark.); God child, Holly Herlocker; and nieces and nephews from the Dupree family – Warren, Stony, Shannon, Misty, Bill, Alex, Mark and Nicole of Arkansas; and nieces, Joanna DiGiuro Moffitt and Monica DiGiuro (of California). He attended Blytheville, Ark. schools through his sophomore year, then graduated from Treadwell High School in Memphis, Tenn. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Memphis State University and a Law Degree from the University of Memphis. He was a life-long member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He worked as a legal advisor and employee benefits consultant for 30 plus years in Little Rock, Memphis and Seattle, Wash. He loved golfing, fishing, cooking, whistling and singing. He developed lasting friendships over the years with hunters, golfers and fishing buddies. When hunting his choice of weapons was a camera. He was a great father and husband. He was a good man and will be remembered lovingly by his family and friends for his wonderful and unique laughter as well as sharp sense of humor and wit. He will be remembered for all of these things, as well as his generous acts of hospitality and the many delicious meals he prepared for family and friends over the years. In lieu of flowers, the Beale family asks that any memorial gifts be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn. or to the American Cancer Society.
