Linden "Preacher" Allison of North Little Rock, 88 years young, was called home on Monday, May 6, 2019. He was born on May 20, 1930 to Max and Retha Allison of Walnut Ridge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Carol Ann. He is survived by his children: Leslie Hope Boyd of Sherwood, Ashley (Tom) Hopkins of Hot Springs, Jamie Allison of Ward, and his beloved cat "Nikki", his brothers: Muriel (Wanda) Allison and Millard (Libby) Allison of Walnut Ridge, and his grandchildren: Houston Murray, Linzy Allison, Brooke Hopkins, and Trysta Boeving. Linden received an honorable discharge on December 13, 1954 as a Staff Sergeant with the USAF serving during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from ASU Jonesboro with a bachelor's degree in business. Linden was a successful self-made man. He closed a deal with a handshake; his word was his bond. His success led to him being the SAHPMM Salesperson of the Year for 2017. Services will be Friday, May 10, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Park Hill Baptist Church, 201 E. "C" Avenue, NLR, Ark. 72116. After the service, burial with Military Honors will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, NLR, Ark. from 6–8 p.m. Online guest register www.smithfamilycares.com.
