Stanley Douglas Sutterfield

Stanley Douglas Sutterfield, 77, of Lonoke, Arkansas went to be with the Lord May 5, 2019. He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Dept. after working twenty-eight years. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. Stanley is survived by his wife, Eula "Sissy" Sutterfield of Lonoke; one daughter, Barbara Sutterfield of Lonoke; grandson, Nicholas Sutterfield of Beebe; one great-grandson, Michael Sutterfield; siblings, Darrel Sutterfield of Florida, Doris McFadden of Lonoke, Brenda O'Neal of Illinois, Glenda Bullard of Batesville and Norman Sutterfield of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taft and Mary Sutterfield, one daughter, Carolyn Sutterfield, one sister, Corene Teague and one brother, Charles Sutterfield. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery.
