Joan Lynne Tirey 82 of Bryant, Arkansas passed away May 7, 2019. She was born July 23, 1936 to the Late William and Opal Smith. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, and a current member of Village Creek Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Tirey. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Jimmy Tirey and wife Molly of Little Rock; three daughters: Erin Johnson and husband Raymond of Benton, Arkansas, Tierney Tirey of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Desiree Eyler of North Lake, Texas; grandchildren: Anna Jetton, Adam Tirey, Bryan Johnson and his wife Kelly, Gleen Boyett and his wife Christina, and Ashley Griggs and her husband Jon; five great-grandchildren: Keeley Johnson, Landon Johnson, Zoe Griggs, Luke Griggs, and Zane Griggs; and a host of family members and friends who love Joan and will miss her always.
