ANN BRAGG MCCANN was born in Bauxite, Ark.
Sunrise January 7, 1936 ~ Sunset May 9, 2019.
She was the loving wife of Floyd McCann and a devoted Mother to Michael (Carey) McCann, Karen McCann, DeAnthony (Stephanie) Hall, and Dennis (Peggy) Hamilton. She loved & was loved dearly and by her Brother, Gary Bragg, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, friends and so many people that she touched throughout her life. She was treasured by her grandchildren; Trey Lee, Ayzhia Hall and OIyvia Hall.
Ann has joined her Parents; Samuel Louie Bragg and Hazel Page Bragg, her Sister; Betty Bragg Cox and her Brother; Richard Bragg who preceded her. They will welcome her with love in heaven.
Ann was a proud Bauxite native. She graduated from Bauxite High School in 1954. While there she was a member of the Beta Club, majorette, and Homecoming Queen in 1953.
Ann enjoyed many hobbies and was and avid Razorback fan. She was a designer, an artist, and a joyful gardener and nature lover and infamous dessert maker.
Ann was a Bible Study teacher most of her life. She volunteered with the Step ministry for several years and mentored at-risk youth along with other members of New Beginnings Ministry in Houston, Arkansas.
She was a prayer warrior and devoted reader of the Bible.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the newest member of our family, Valerie Bradford, Mom's caregiver and our dear friend.
