Billy Hugh Collins

Billy Hugh Collins, age 79, passed away on May 7, 2019, at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born on August 21, 1939, to Bert and Josephine (Crabtree) Collins. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia (Cannon) Collins; and his daughter, Kristi (Collins) Johnson. Billy joined the Navy where he proudly served his country and was honorably discharged in 1963. He grew up in West Texas where he worked in the oil fields. He spent his career working in the oil industry in Saudi Arabia until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by his two daughters, Beth Ann Neff and husband Terry of Neosho, Missouri, and Julie Randolph and husband Paul of Fayetteville; his sister, Yvonne Merkel of Fredricksburg, Texas; seven grandchildren, Christian Neff, Courtney Neff, Tyler Hutchison, Dexter Hutchison, Abby Randolph, Jordan Johnson, and Jaimisen Harris; and two great-grandchildren. There will be a private family service held at a later date.
