PATRICIA BRADSHAW LAVENDER 88, of Little Rock, died May 6, 2019. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 1, 1930 to Edmund and Teresa Bradshaw, she was the beloved and devoted wife of Ken Lavender for over 58 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers, Edmund and Robert Bradshaw. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Robert Lavender and wife, Darla, of Little Rock and Thomas Lavender and wife, Shelley, of Chesterfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Lavender Pacheco and husband, Dr. Zachary Pacheco, Dr. Charles Lavender and wife, Christa, and Taylor Lavender; and her great-grandson, Mitchell Pacheco. She was a former member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church and a current member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was employed by Rebsamen Companies for 25 years before retiring in 1994. Pat had a true servant's heart with a passion for volunteer work. She was a hospital auxiliary member for many years, having volunteered at Southwest Regional Medical Center and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She was a lifelong member of Baptist/Little Rock Auxiliary, a member of Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary and a member of the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association, having served on its board in several capacities. She was a past president and life member of Executive Women International and a member of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Guild. Pat took great pride in her family and all of their accomplishments. She was especially known for her culinary skills as family and friends will attest. Visitation will be Monday, May 13 from 6-8 p.m. with the Rosary service at 7:45 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. by Msgr. Francis Malone and Father Mark Wood at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
