Patsy Ann Bing

Patsy Ann Bing, age 78, passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, May 10th, 2019 in the presence of her loving husband, William Wayne Bing. From her birth on August 2nd, 1940 to her death, she nourished people all around her with kindness, wisdom, compassion, and love. She departed this earth with fulfillment in the family of three children and her grandchildren; son, Scott Bing of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Tracy Miller (Steve), Lesley, Alexa, Laury, and Aulden of Austin, AR; and daughter, Ashley Bing (Hannah), Sidney and Aidan. She was also survived by one brother, James H. Smith and wife, Joyce, of Longview TX, and many other cherished family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard L. and Lucille Moss Smith of Dermott, AR. Patsy received a degree in nursing in 1961 from the Methodist School of Nursing in Memphis, TN. She spent thirty productive years in many facets of nursing and nurse management from which she retired in 1993. Patsy was an avid card player who never lost a game to her husband, children, or grandchildren. While we are all saddened by our loss, we are in awe of her record.
