Shirley Helen Sims

SHIRLEY HELEN SIMS, 79, of Little Rock, died May 9, 2019. Born February 2, 1940 at Center Hill, Ark., she was the daughter of Earl Andrew and Annieophelia Christy. She retired from the Kroger Company after over 20 years of service. She loved crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune, and her dog, Beazer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence; and sisters, Revanell McGinty and Pat Wood. Survivors are her daughters, Bobbie Carranza, Brenda Aaron and Beverly Pannell; sisters, Avanell McGinty, Linda Bass (Jim), and Pam Dumeny (Randy); grandchildren, Robbie, Michael (Dianna), Lacey (Amanda), Josh (Kaci), Jordan (Anna) and Jake; great-grandchildren, Harper, Barrett, Bexley, Emmett, Kaylynn, Dylan, Destiny, Sydney, and Austin; and one great-great-grandson, Warren. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, 72204 (501) 661-9111 with Minister Lin Rapier, officiating.
