Ted Huneycutt

Ted Huneycutt age 74, of Arkadelphia passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, in Hot Springs. He was born January 7, 1945, one of fourteen children to Claude and Stella Pennington Huneycutt. Ted was a cattleman, farmer, and retired from Alcoa. Ted was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for thirty-five years. He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Survivors are his wife of nearly fifty-six years, Reba Burris Huneycutt; two sons, Ted Huneycutt Jr. and wife, Cindy, Steve Huneycutt and wife, Leanne all of Arkadelphia; five grandsons, Josh and wife, Janna, Ted (Trey) III, Luke and wife, Alexis, Logan and Greyson Huneycutt; three granddaughters, Sara Liggin and husband, Jeffrey, Jessica Day and husband, Ryan, and Ashley Buie and husband, Matt; two great-granddaughters, Hadleigh and Anniston Jewell Day; one great-grandson, Braylon Liggin and a great-grandson on the way, Lawson Liggin; three brothers, Clovis Huneycutt and Wendell Huneycutt and wife, Iva both of Arkadelphia, James Huneycutt of Winnsboro, Texas and one sister, Wanda Byrd of Little Rock. Visitation will 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 12th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 13th at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Frank Buttrey, Bro. Richard Sandage and Elder Don Farris officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Memorials may be made to Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church.
