Martha Gene Jerry

Martha Gene Jerry, age 92, of Bryant, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was born July 18, 1926 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Gene retired after 32 years at Southwestern Bell and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. and Bessie Bishop; three brothers, Roy, Wayne and James Bishop and two infant sisters. She is survived by two sons, Terry Jerry and wife Beth of Cabot and Randy Jerry of El Dorado; sister, Margie Wingfield of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and five grandchildren, Ben Jerry of Little Rock, Jack Jerry of Fayetteville, Will Jerry of Cabot, Kathleen Jerry of New York City, New York and Kaleb Jerry of Fayetteville. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16 at Ashby Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Bryant Cemetery.
