Betty Lou Miller, age 86, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was greatly loved by her family. She was born on January 23, 1933, in Altus, Oklahoma, to William and Stella (Lethgo) Parks. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Miller, of 61 years. They were married on January 28, 1951 in Rogers, Arkansas. Betty was a long-time charter member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville. She loved her church family and was the first nursery worker in the church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her granddaughters and, beyond all, put everyone else first before herself. She was a true mother. She cooked and stayed up late when you were sick. She enjoyed doing crafts, cooking Sunday dinner for her family, trying new recipes, and taking care of Kaylee. She is survived by her three daughters, Joyce Cumbie and husband Curtis of Fayetteville, Donna Miller of Fayetteville, and Judy McNeill and husband Bryan of Sachse, Texas; and two granddaughters, Kaylee Cumbie and Grace McNeill. A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Rolling Hills Baptist Church at 1400 E. Rolling Hills Drive, Fayetteville, Ark. 72703. Interment to follow at Rogers Cemetery at 510 S. 10th Street, Rogers, Ark. 72756 for a graveside service.
