James Edward Young

James Edward Young, 82, of Little Rock, transitioned to his heavenly home on May 10, 2019. He was preceded I death by both parents, his wife of 57 years, Colone Young, his two sisters, Rose Smith and Lilly Mae Daniels and two brothers, Calvin Young and Curtis Bill Jones. He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, James (Phyllis) Young of Little Rock and Gary Young of Scott, Ark.; and one daughter, Deborah (Cliff) Cosen of Sherwood; 11 grandsons, Brandon (Marisol) Mitchell, Antwone (Hope) Young, Damian (Tameka) Young, Trammell (Kendra) Young, Adrian Young, Kenny Harris, Kevin Smith, Trent Smith, Tommy Webb and Patrick Webb and Johnathan Thomas; four granddaughters, Lakeshia (Jonathan) Watts, Nikki (James0 Davis, Michelle Caster and Joyce Thomas; three brothers, Roosevelt (Alma) Young, Elliott (Lou) Jackson and Robert Earl Young of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Robbie Lyle of Bellevue, Neb.; two brothers-in-law, Herman (Theresa) Nichols and Broderick (Dorothy)Nichols; two sisters-in-law, Lizzie Nichols and Dorothy Jones; and many great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service is Saturday, May 18, 2019, 11 a.m., at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Roosevelt and Main Streets, Little Rock. Rev. C.D. Edwards, officiating.
