William Alexander Burton, 23, of Little Rock, Ark. made his journey into Heaven on May 10, 2019. He was born on January 2, 1996 and Born Again the winter of 2004. Alex came into this world way too early as a preemie, and he left this world way too soon. Alex graduated from Joe T. Robinson with the class of 2015. He played football with the Senators and was part of the Art Club. Alex enjoyed all forms of art mediums but sketching seemed to be his favorite. Music was also a major part of his life. Writing lyrics and composing beats occupied much of his free time. Alex was in the floral industry, where he gained many supportive friendships that quickly became family to him. Alex was a member of Martindale Baptist Church. He cherished the conversations he had with his Brother in Christ, Pastor Bill Harris, who will be officiating the service. Alex was preceded in death by two grandfathers, H. Ray Burton "Grandpa" (2011) and Orley O. Feagins "Fafa" (2018); also by two aunts, Debbie Feagins "Unc Deb" (2011) and Dana Feagins "Aunt Dana" (1977); along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents and close friends. Left to cherish his memories and continue living his legacy are parents, Hal Burton and Kim Feagins Burton, sister, Kayleigh Hunter (and Cody), brother, Trey Burton, and a very special niece whom he deeply adored, Lilly Hunter. He is also survived by both of his grandmothers, Rhoda Feagins "Grandmama" and Ann Burton "Grandma" and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All who knew Alex knows how dearly he loved his family and close friends, and that he would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need, whether he knows them or not. Such a gentle and genuine soul gone too soon, like way too many others. Pallbearers are: Curtis Gordon, Tony Carlin, Chuck Adams, Rommel Gill, Boe Jackson & Richard Oberhaus. Honorary Pallbearers include: Trey Burton, Cody Hunter, Todd Nespor, Robbie Harper, Randy Harper, and Nick Ford. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens and Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with the burial immediately following. Please reach out to close family and friends on Facebook for details regarding memorial events and celebrations of life details coming up. And in the words of Alex, "I enjoyed dinner, it was immaculat, Ill see you another 'gain."
