Charles Richard McDade, Jr.

Charles Richard McDade Jr., 76, passed away in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 10, 2019. Richard was born on May 26, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles Richard McDade Sr. and Evlyn Newton McDade. Richard graduated from Little Rock Catholic High School in 1960, and attended college at UALR. He began working for his father in the home construction business at an early age and was supervising crews at the age of 15. At the age of 21, Richard established his own construction firm in Little Rock where he built many fine homes and commercial properties. In 1992, Richard moved to Fayetteville where he concentrated on commercial and home roof construction and repair. Richard is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bonnie Blakey McDade, daughter, Kim McDade of Little Rock, daughter, Holly McDade-Ramer and husband Jim of Brooklyn, New York, son, Charles Richard McDade III and wife Roxanne of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter, Courtney McDade Chaney and Bo of Fayetteville, stepson, Matthew Blakey and wife Missy of Fayetteville, and stepson, Michael Marlin of Pocahontas. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Isabella Balas of Little Rock, Audrey Ramer of Brooklyn New York, Mac and Evie Chaney of Fayetteville, and step-grandchildren Davis and Parker Blakey of Fayetteville. Other survivors include sister, Sissy Clinton and husband Bo of Little Rock, brother, Tom McDade and wife Sula of Eureka Springs and Big Sur, California, sister-in-law, Cheryl Brown and husband Frank of Bardstown, Kentucky. A local NWA celebration will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5:30-7 p.m. at 2703 Brookbury Crossing, Fayetteville, Ark. 72703. Interment service will be held on May 20, 2019 at Mount Holly Cemetery, 1200 Broadway St., Little Rock, AR (501-376-1843) at 12:30 p.m. A celebration of Richard's life will be held following at the Mt.
