James "Jim" Bradley Schran

James "Jim" Bradley Schran, 85, of Bella Vista died May 16, 2019. He was born July 3, 1933, in Hot Springs and served in the Korean War as a Naval Communications officer. He married Carol Moore on December 18, 1954, and their daughter Linda was born in 1956. After earning a BS in management from UALR, Jim's professional career included hospital administration, sales management, and video production. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Schran; parents Harold and Jessamine Schran; stepmother Ruth Schran; and four brothers-in-law. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Schran Chitwood of Bella Vista, sister Mrs. Patsy Hall of Hot Springs; and grandchildren Carolyn Chitwood of Bella Vista and Courtney Chitwood of Jacksonville. Inurnment will be at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock.
