Gayla Sue Hughes

Gayla Sue Hughes, 71, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Friday, May 17, 2019 after a long struggle with Alzheimers. She was born Saturday, November 29, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas, and was lovingly raised by Lewis and Irene Busby in Lockney, Texas. Her exuberance for life and endless supply of love will be greatly missed by her husband of 38 years, Terry Hughes; children, Toby (MacKenzie) and Kristi; grandchildren, Sydney, Gracie, Bebe, and Daltry. Others left to cherish her memory include niece and nephew, Kelly and Kevin; along with countless of other friends and family.
