Helen Unetra Gorman

Helen Unetra Gorman, 90, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was born Wednesday, April 10, 1929 in Parsons, Tennessee to the late James E. and Maggie I. Herndon Goodman. Mrs. Gorman enjoyed painting and sewing but found her greatest joy in her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be missed by all who were privileged to know her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, John T. Gorman; son, John T. Gorman; siblings, Mitchell Irlby Amyette, James A. Goodman, Paul L. Goodman, William S. Goodman and Maxellen Craig. Survivors include her children, John M. Gorman of Jacksonville, Dianne U. Gorman of Jacksonville, Jeanne K. and son-in-law Drew Stewart of Washington, Daniel T. Gorman of California; grandchildren, Johnny L. Hull, Charles A. Hull, Sunshine U. Fritz, Andrew D. Stewart, Wendi S. Murray, Anthony Gorman and Robin Gorman. Other survivors include nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
