Sharon Kaye Holsted

Sharon Kaye Holsted, age 72, of Jacksonville passed away, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home. She was born October 16, 1946 in Leslie, Arkansas to the late William Ray and Bertha Henry Harness. Ms. Holsted was preceded in death by her siblings, G.B. Harness, Dalphna Copeland, and Sandra McDaniel; and grandchildren, Tyler Holsted and Chelsea Holsted. Survivors include her best friend and companion of 36 years, Gloria Shuping; children, Kathryn Parchman and Keith Holsted; siblings, Flo Passmore, Martha Rainbolt, and Patricia Fraley; grandchildren, Brooke Meleney, Bridget Thompson, Douglas Meleney, Jr., Ashley Stanley, Emla Holsted, and John William Holsted; and great–grandchildren, Jack Thompson, Dean Stanley, Macy Meleney, and Carter Meleney. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Chaplain Tom Edwards officiating. Services will conclude in the chapel.
