Jane Fowler Burgan

JANE FOWLER BURGAN, age 78 of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019. She was born on March 11, 1941 in Covington, Kentucky to her late parents, Robert and Lyda Rich. Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church in Maumelle and was an advocate who worked and volunteered with mental health patients. In addition, she enjoyed flowers, jewelry and loved Christmas time. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jack Burgan; one son, Jeff Burgan (Beverly) of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and one daughter, Elizabeth Wilson; five grandchildren, Candice Owings (Eric), Stefanie Hartt (Arthur), Justin Burgan, Lauren Wilson and Matthew Wilson and one great-grandchild, William Owings. Jane is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Burgan. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Pkwy., Little Rock, Ark., (501) 224-8300.
