Jose Javier Hernandez

JOSE JAVIER HERNANDEZ, age 82 of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was born on September 17, 1936 to his late parents, Jose Epifanio and Angelita Colon Hernandez. Jose graduated with a Master's degree in Engineering having retired from Lucent Technologies Management in 1995 and was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam. Jose loved golf. After retirement, he was on the greens by 7 a.m. with his friends which called themselves, "The Dawn Patrol." He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He will be missed. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara J. Hernandez; six children, Joey Hernandez (DeDe) of Easley, S.C., Cindy Boykin (Paul) of Easley, S.C., Timothy J. Orellano of Maumelle, Ark., Pam Holt (Terry) of Haskel, Ark., Debbie Brown of Sheridan, Ark., and Cindy Tillery (Randy) of Benton, Ark., and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one son, Angel W. Hernandez, III.
