Beloved wife, mother, teacher, and friend passed away Friday, May 24th in Arkansas Hospice. Terri Lynn Oaks was born February 10, 1971 in Omaha Nebraska to Ralph and Kathy Benach Andersen. Terri was a 1989 Graduate of Sylvan Hills High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from University of Central Arkansas in 1996. On August 23, 1997, she married Brad Oaks in Little Rock. Terri has been an elementary teacher at Clinton Elementary in Sherwood for the past 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Andersen. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Brad Oaks of the home; mother, Kathy (Roger) Wolf of Jacksonville; children, Tana Oaks, Brooke Oaks, and London Oaks, all of the home; brothers, David Andersen and Danny Andersen, both of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Cindy Viles of Neosho, Missouri; mother-in-law, Dianne (Sam) Swayze of Little Rock; and father-in-law, Jack (Linda) Oaks of Cabot.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church with Reverend Sara Bayles officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Oaks Residence. With deepest gratitude the family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at both UAMS and Arkansas Hospice for taking such great care of Terri during this time. The family would also like to thank the people who participated in the "meal train". These wonderful people helped make sure the family had food for dinner to help feed the grieving family.
